My client is seeking a Trainee Auditor/Accountant to join our dynamic and growing accountancy practice in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with an accountancy degree and some relevant experience to develop their skills while working towards a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA).
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Support the audit team in planning, executing, and finalising audits.
Prepare and file VAT, PAYE, RCT, and corporation tax returns.
Conduct bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable management, and bookkeeping tasks.
Assist in financial analysis and reporting for clients.
Communicate with clients, Revenue, and other stakeholders as needed.
Stay updated with accounting and tax regulations in Ireland.
Education & Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (essential).
Progress towards ACCA, ACA, or CPA qualification (desirable).
Some experience in an accounting or audit role (preferably in practice).
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent Communication skills, fluent in English.
