Tax Manager - Dublin City

A leading accountancy practice based in Dublin, offering a wide range of financial services to our diverse client base. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance: Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, including corporate and personal tax returns, VAT, PAYE, and other related filings.
• Advisory Services: Provide expert tax advice to clients, identifying tax planning opportunities, and ensuring clients are fully aware of tax risks and opportunities.
• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on complex tax issues and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising on the potential impact of changes.
• Strategic Planning: Assist clients with tax-efficient strategies for business restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate activities.
• Audit Support: Work closely with the audit team to ensure seamless integration of tax compliance and advisory services.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably within an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of Irish tax legislation and experience with international tax issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team.
