Tax Assistant Manager - Financial Services Experience

My client are an international powerhouse providing Accounting, Auditing and Tax services across the globe. 

They are seeking an Assistant Manager to join their Financial Services team in either the Dublin, Cork or Galway office.

As a Tax AM you will be responsible for advising high profile clients as they navigate changes across their international businesses, whilst you build your profile as trusted adviser. We will support you are you continue your journey or career progression and personal growth in our fast paced and evolving business.

You will have the following Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary internal team to deliver exceptional service.
2. Take ownership of client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and building your personal profile with clients.
3. Developing junior staff, guiding their technical and practical growth to give them exposure to a wide range of opportunities as they progress in their careers.
4. Collaborate with the leadership team, both within the tax department and across other service lines, to shape and drive strategic business initiatives.
5. Influence market strategy and actively contribute to branding efforts, thought leadership, and client events.

Skills/Experiences:

• Professional Qualification e.g. Accountant (ACA,ACCA), Law or Tax
• Chartered Tax Advisor/ Technician or equilivant.
• At least 1-2 years experience in Tax PQE
• Big4/Top 10 firms experience - desirable
• Experience working in a industry/practice as a Tax professional (Financial Services experience is desirable)
• Highly motivated and ambitious, with a strong drive to develop your career and grow a business in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong technical, interpersonal, and client relationship skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• A proactive approach to building and strengthening client relationships and engaging in business development activities.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver high-quality service to clients.
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
