Sustainability Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Sustainability Engineer on behalf of one of Ireland's leading M&E design consultancies.

This role will be based in Dublin and is an opportunity to further your career at one of Ireland's leading consultancies. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional passionate about delivering sustainable design solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct concept and scheme design studies, preparing comprehensive sustainability reports.
• Develop Sustainable Design Reports and collaborate with project teams to achieve sustainability goals.
• Perform thermal comfort studies (TM52, TM59, EN ISO 7730) using MacroFlo.
• Carry out energy performance analysis for Part L compliance and BER certification using VE Compliance.
• Conduct thermal load calculations to CIBSE standards and daylight analysis using Radiance.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and BER requirements.
• Deliver high-quality sustainability projects within specified timelines.

About You

• Education: Degree in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a sustainability or energy consultant.
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles and building services design.
  • Proficiency in IESVE programs (VE SBEM, Apache Sim, Radiance, MacroFlo, CIBSE Loads).
  • Familiarity with Autodesk products such as AutoCAD & Revit (preferred).
• Soft Skills:
  
  • Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing and project management abilities.
