Structural Engineer

ProSource are seeking a structural engineer on behalf of a leading Civil and Structural consultancy for a position in Galway.

*€50,000 - €55,000*

Responsibilities

• Ability to exercise independent judgment in complex design, construction, and project management tasks.
• Carrying out work in accordance with company ISO procedures.
• Presenting a proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving and project management.
• Delivering robust and cost-effective solutions in materials such as concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
• Working closely with clients, contractors, and other members of the project team to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in an Irish engineering consultancy.
• Honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered member of Engineers Ireland or close to applying to chartership.
• Possessing a solid understanding of engineering principles with a strong technical focus, along with the ability to apply these principles and relevant codes of practice to resolve technical issues
• Skilled and experienced in using AutoCAD, Structural Design Software, and Microsoft Office.
