Structural Engineer

ProSource are seeking Structural Engineers on behalf of their client, an industry-leading regional Civil and Structural consultancy, for a position in Sligo.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform work in line with company ISO procedures and adhere to Eurocode standards
• Contribute to a diverse range of projects, managing them from initiation to completion
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality standards
• Oversee and manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met
• Collaborate with suppliers on technical issues to ensure smooth project execution
• Deliver technical presentations to stakeholders as required

Mandatory Requirements:

• A Level 8 degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in civil or infrastructure projects
• Chartered membership of Engineers Ireland or working towards chartership
• Experience with road and drainage systems
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety laws and regulations
• Ability to write clear, concise reports and maintain thorough work records
• Eligibility to work full-time in Ireland with a valid visa
• Possession of a full, valid Irish driving licence

Desirable Requirements:

• Prior experience in road design
• Proficiency in 3D design tools such as Civil 3D or PDS
• Experience with Junction Analysis Software like Arcady, PICADY, or LinSig
• Skilled in AutoCAD usage
