Structural Design Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Structural Design Engineer on behalf of a leading international multidisciplinary engineering firm in Galway.
The company provide a wide range of services including Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and more.
  
*€40,000 - €50,000 + package on offer.*

The role will include:

• Structural Analysis and Design: Perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Design Development: Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine structural designs, incorporating client requirements and architectural concepts.
• Technical Expertise: Apply engineering principles and best practices to create cost-effective and innovative structural solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of quality control, reviewing design calculations and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication of design concepts.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design reports, drawings, and specifications for use by project teams and clients.

This ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years postgraduate experience in structural design.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) with a recognised professional engineering institution.
• Experience liaising with stakeholders and attending site meetings.
• Proficiency in structural design software and familiarity with relevant design codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
