Site Manager - Main Contractor - Cork

ProSource are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of their client who are a renowned Main Contractor in Ireland. They now require an experienced Site Manager for a large residential project in Cork.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage site setup and ensure that all temporary works are installed safely.
• Assist in the development of detailed project plans, including work schedules, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure all construction activities are in accordance with the project plan and contractual obligations.
• Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to stay on track.
• Ensure that all works are completed to the required quality standards.
• Develop and enforce site-specific health and safety plans.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and health and safety documentation.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally on residential projects
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experince in the Irish/UK Construction Industry is essential
