Site Engineer

Overview:
Our client, a prominent civil engineering and utilities contractor, is looking for a Site Engineer to support the delivery of a wastewater treatment plant project in Donegal. The successful candidate will provide on-site engineering expertise, ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct setting out and surveying activities to ensure accurate construction.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance on-site.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with the project team and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records and reports.
• Liaise with the Senior Engineer to ensure technical requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer, ideally in utilities or wastewater projects.
• Proficient in setting out and surveying techniques.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
