About the RoleOur client, a renowned Architecture and Design firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Site Architect to join their team in Galway. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing and delivering complex construction projects while ensuring design excellence, quality standards, and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities - Manage the architectural oversight of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with design teams, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design intent, building regulations, and safety standards.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
- Act as a liaison between clients and project teams, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved within budget and on schedule.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Champion sustainability and innovative solutions in all aspects of project delivery.
Requirements - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or related field).
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RIAI, RIBA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in site/project management within architecture or construction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
