Site Agent

Overview:
Our client, a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, is seeking a Site Agent to oversee public works projects across Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires experience in public works and engagement with local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee civil engineering projects, ensuring efficient site operations and progress tracking.
• Liaise with local authorities, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all site activities.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, identifying and mitigating potential risks or delays.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and contractual documentation.
• Implement and uphold quality control and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Agent role within public works and civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of public infrastructure projects and experience working with local authorities.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance in construction.
• Full, clean driving licence.
