Senior Structural Engineer

Our client, a leading international engineering consultancy, are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to be based in their Cork office.

Role will include:

• Acting as a Structural Engineer within Multidiscipline Design Teams.
• Providing design input and oversee the delivery of all structural aspects of projects.
• Preparing project reports at various stages (Planning, Tender, Construction).
• Preparing fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts with public and private clients.
• Communicating with internal and external parties via email.
• Overseeing the preparation of design drawings.
• Undertaking duties of the Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.
• Manage financial aspects of design budgets.

Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer
• Excellent communication skills with effective workload prioritization and management.
• Experienced with structural design software and MS Office Suite.
• Background in acting as Project C+S Engineer throughout different disciplines.
