ProSource are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Dublin on behalf of one of Ireland’s Tier One Main Contractors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving forward their commitment to excellence, contributing to high-profile developments that shape the landscape of the city.
Responsibilities: - Lead cost management functions, including estimating, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage contract documentation, ensuring compliance and resolving disputes as they arise.
- Oversee procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimise financial exposure.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring project objectives are met.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and accuracy in all surveying activities, maintaining meticulous records and reports.
Requirements: - Chartered Quantity Surveyor status is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior quantity surveying role within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
- Expertise in quantity surveying software and proficiency in relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines, maintaining composure under pressure.
Package: - €80,000 - €90,000 DOE
