ProSource are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Dublin on behalf of one of Ireland’s Tier One Main Contractors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving forward their commitment to excellence, contributing to high-profile developments that shape the landscape of the city.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Lead cost management functions, including estimating, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contract documentation, ensuring compliance and resolving disputes as they arise.
  • Oversee procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimise financial exposure.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and accuracy in all surveying activities, maintaining meticulous records and reports.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor status is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior quantity surveying role within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Expertise in quantity surveying software and proficiency in relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines, maintaining composure under pressure.
Package:
