Senior Quantity Surveyor

ProSource Group is currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a reputable mid-sized main building contractor. Our client, a leading construction firm with a strong nationwide presence in Ireland, is seeking to fill a pivotal position based in Galway.

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 + package DOE
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cost management, including budget preparation and control.
• Lead contract management, including negotiation and administration of subcontract agreements.
• Direct and participate in procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documentation with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to optimise value engineering and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure financial success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, with at least 2 years at a senior level.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts and current industry regulations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software and cost management tools.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
