Senior Quantity Surveyor

ProSource are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor in Galway to join a well-established and reputable construction firm. Package: up to €90,000 + 10% Pension

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reports.
• Oversee the preparation and agreement of monthly project Payment Claims.
• Handle the preparation of internal and external project cashflow information.
• Lead change control processes, including identification and negotiation.
• Assess and quantify the effects of delay and disruption on projects.
• Monitor and manage all ongoing commercial aspects throughout project lifecycles.
• Act as the Commercial Lead on projects, liaising directly with clients and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with contract provisions regarding notifications and claims.
• Procure, compile, and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
• Negotiate and finalize subcontractor accounts.

Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying with at least 8+ years of surveying experience.
• Strong contractual and commercial acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging with clients and design teams.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Experience administering RIAI, GCC, and bespoke forms of contracts.
• Proficiency in IT and industry-specific software (experience with Cubit, CostX, and COINS is advantageous).
• Prior experience working on medium- to large-scale projects in sectors such as industrial, healthcare, pharma, commercial, and education.
