ProSource Group are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a leading international consultancy. This role will be based in Limerick City.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Lead and manage the complete mechanical design process for projects of various sizes, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality control across mechanical engineering projects in all office locations.
  • Manage project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Lead both project-specific and cross-functional teams within the organisation.
  • Represent the company by attending client meetings, site surveys, and training sessions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other company offices on relevant matters to ensure project success.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in mechanical design within a building services consultancy. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessments, and dynamic energy modelling tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial sector and familiarity with BIM practices is a significant advantage.
