Senior H&S Advisor

Overview:

Our client, a leading construction materials supplier, is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to oversee safety operations across their infrastructure projects in Dublin. Based in Tallaght, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures across all projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide H&S training and inductions to employees and contractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with management and project teams to maintain compliance with H&S standards.
• Prepare and present H&S performance reports to senior management.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role, with senior advisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and construction industry standards.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
