Senior Engineer

Our client, a leading civil engineering and utilities contractor, is seeking a Senior Engineer to manage operations at a wastewater treatment plant project in Donegal. The successful candidate will oversee technical aspects, ensuring quality, safety, and project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all engineering activities on the wastewater treatment plant project.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality delivery.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and update senior management on project milestones.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across the site.
• Liaise with clients, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues and implement solutions promptly.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Engineer, ideally in wastewater or utilities projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
