Senior Electrical Design Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a leading international consultancy. This role will be based in Cork City and offers a hybrid working model. 

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversee the entire electrical design process.
• Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for projects across various sectors, from initial concept through detailed design, installation, and commissioning.
• Create detailed electrical plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations
• Work with cross-functional teams, including architects and project managers.
• Integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize designs for efficiency.
• Contribute to innovative solutions and improvements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant consultancy experience with a focus on progressively more complex building services projects.
• Currently based in Ireland.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for electrical design and analysis i.e. Revit. 
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and handle evolving project requirements.
