Senior Construction Manager

Role Overview:
Our client, a leading construction consultancy based in New York City, is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead a luxury hotel/commercial project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a consultancy-driven role, managing high-profile projects from inception to completion, including renovation and fit-out, while working alongside a skilled team to ensure successful delivery.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversee all stages of the hotel/commercial project, from design through to handover, with a focus on providing expert consultancy throughout the process.
• Manage the renovation and fit-out processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Act as the primary consultant, serving as the main liaison between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Create and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, offering strategic consultancy and guidance at every stage.
• Proactively resolve project issues, risks, and changes, delivering solutions in line with consultancy best practices.
• Advise clients on safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring the project meets all industry standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 7+ years of project management experience in the consultancy side of hotel/commercial projects.
• A strong track record of managing projects from design to handover, with specific experience in renovation and fit-out.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills in a consultancy capacity.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• PMP or similar certification is preferred.
