Senior Civil Design Engineer

ProSource are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for an on-site role on behalf of their client, who are a growing consultancy based in Mayo working on a range of projects throughout Ireland and the UK.

*€60,000 - €75,000*

Requirements

• Third level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 6-10 years postgraduate experience in an Irish engineering consultancy.
• Chartered Status with Engineers Ireland or close to applying for chartership.
• A sound understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical focus, ability to apply engineering principles and codes of practice to solve technical problems.
• Fluent English essential.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead design engineer on projects suited to your level of experience.
• Prepare civil engineering designs for various projects.
• Oversee the creation of drawings and reports.
• Guide and support technicians and junior engineering staff.
• Attend meetings with design teams, contractors, and clients.
• Collaborate with architects and other disciplines within the design team.
• Lead the project team to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Conduct site inspections as required.
