ProSource are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist for a well established and expanding architectural firm in Limerick City, Ireland. This architectural firm work on a variety of projects including; Healthcare, Commercial, Education and Technology sectors across Ireland. 

About the role; 

The main responsibility of the Senior Architectural Technologist will be to ensure that the detailed designs of architectural projects comply with relevant statutory and building regulations, utilising their expertise in technical and building construction.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;
  • Preparing and submitting statutory applications and tender packages, which include drawings, schedules, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Participating in meetings with clients, design teams, contractors, and other specialists.
  • Coordinating information among the design team throughout all project stages.
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with clients' briefs, as well as current Irish Planning, Building, and Health & Safety Regulations, and other relevant legislation.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections.
  • There may be requirements for travel to other offices and sites as necessary.
 To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
  • Must hold a degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience, ideally within an Irish Architectural Firm.
  • Excellent knowledge & experience of Irish Planning, Building Regulations, Building Control, and Irish Health & Safety legislation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
  • Proficiency in Revit is desirable
