Senior Accountant - Kildare

My client is a Kildare Accountancy Practice and they are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team based in Naas, Co. Kildare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and growing practice.


Your Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant:

1. Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries.
2. Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
3. Provide strategic financial advice and business support to clients.
4. Ensure compliance with Irish accounting and tax regulations.
5. Oversee audit processes and liaise with auditors.
6. Train and mentor junior accountants and support staff.
7. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance client service and operational efficiency.
8. Other adhoc duties as required.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, tax regulations, and auditing standards.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, CaseWare or similar).
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
• Outgoing personality, with strong interpersonal skills.
