Senior Accountant (Future Partner)

My client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Accountant who is eager to progress to Partner status within two years, subject to obtaining their Practising Certificate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to take a pivotal role in a growing firm, working closely with existing Partners to drive continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert financial advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts.
• Lead client engagements, developing strong relationships to understand their business needs.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff, promoting professional development within the team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the practice.
• Support the strategic growth of the firm, including business development activities.
• Work collaboratively with Partners to manage operations, ensuring the firm meets its performance objectives.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CPA) with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in practice.
• Lives locally and within easy commute of the office near Drogheda.
• Experience in client management and a proven ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Ambition to achieve a Practising Certificate and transition into a Partner role within two years.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in Irish tax, audit, and compliance.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage staff effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
