Quantity Surveyor

ProSource Group are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of are a leading Main Building Contractor. They have spent years establishing themselves as one of Ireland’s most reputable companies. Collaborating with a talented team, you will contribute to the financial control and cost management aspects of our ventures, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
€50,000 - €60,000 DOE
  
Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed cost estimates and providing accurate budget assessments for construction projects.
• Managing and monitoring project costs, including tracking and reporting on variations.
• Collaborating with project teams to assess and manage commercial risks.
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conducting regular cost audits and preparing financial reports for project stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.
• Collaborating with the wider project team to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
• Participating in project meetings and providing timely and accurate cost advice to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including cost estimation and project management tools.
• Membership in a relevant professional body is desirable.
