Quality Engineer

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team for a high-profile $100M transportation infrastructure project in NYC. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major public works project and ensure top-tier quality at every stage of construction.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversee the implementation and management of the project’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure all work, materials, and processes meet contract specifications and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate quality control documentation and provide regular reports to management.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and NYC regulatory requirements.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality engineering on large-scale infrastructure projects (experience with transportation projects is a plus).
• Familiarity with NYC building codes and transportation standards is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Certifications like Six Sigma or CQI are a bonus.
