Qualified Practice Accountant - South Dublin

Our client, a well-established accountancy firm with offices across Ireland, is currently seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team in South Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients, offering expert advice and support across a range of services.
• Manage assignments in audit, taxation, accountancy, and business advisory.
• Prepare and review financial statements and month-end management accounts within strict deadlines.
• Oversee audit engagements through to Partner review, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve technical queries, providing clients with clear, practical solutions.
• Handle Company Secretarial Returns and Corporation Tax Returns.
• Support the preparation of Income Tax Returns, ensuring all filing deadlines are met.
• Mentor and support junior staff, fostering growth and development within the team.
• Tackle ad-hoc projects and assignments as they arise.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ ACCA Qualified Accountant.
• At least 3 years’ experience in an Irish practice (small to medium-sized).
• Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards and best practices.
• Proficient in accounting software (Xero, Surf, Sage, etc.).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to workload.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a close-knit team environment.
