Qualified / Part Qualified / Technician

My client is a modest accountancy practice, based in Kilkenny town.  They have an opening for an experienced practice accountant.  My client doesn't mind whether you are fully qualified, part or a technician, what matters most is that you can do the job.

This job in question will see you working across Audit, Accounts and Tax, dealing with a diverse client base.  40% of your time will be taken up with Auditing so it is essential that you know the basics and can navigate files. The remainder of your time will be taken up Preparing accounts, tax returns (company/Sole trader/individuals) and attending to queries/ collaborating with your colleagues to get the job done.

This is a lovely practice environment to be going into, with a head count of just over 10 people and the availability of flexible working (post probation) you will enjoy working here. 

Your responsibilities will vary and coming for a small/medium Irish practice background you will be well versed in Audit, Accounts and Tax.


Your skills/ Experience:

• Whether you have the qualification of a chartered accountant or technician or be part qualified my client doesn't mind - what you will have is the ability, and drive to get the job done.
• You must have worked in an Irish practice for at least 3 years.
• Based locally, with the ability to comfortably commute to Kilkenny on a daily basis - essential. 
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player, who gets on well with people.
• Audit, Accounts and Tax experience - essential.
