Qualified Accountant - Meath

My client is an established Meath Practice and they are seeking a qualified accountant to join the team. 

Your role will involve:

• Preparation of year end accounts for Partner Review
• Preparation of Stock Sample and attendance at stock take where required.
• Preparation and submission of Company Office Returns including B1 Annual Return.
• Completion of client payroll and all corresponding Revenue Submissions and client correspondence
• Completion of client VAT Returns and all corresponding Revenue Submissions and client correspondence
• Importing raw data and information from clients software’s to the company software for reconciliation
• Correspondence with clients regarding the implementation of new software / practices and providing training for same
• Training junior members of staff in the preparation of bookkeeping, use of software and client correspondence.
• Correspondence with the Revenue Commissioners regarding Phased Payment Applications and dealing with debt management issues with clients.
• Preparation and Submission of Sole-Trader Accounts and Income Tax returns on an annual basis.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CPA or ACCA).
• At least 3 years experience working in an Irish practice environment (Small/Medium) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and willingness to get stuck into tasks.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Drivers Licence.
• Outgoing personality.
