Qualified Accountant - Leitrim

ProSource are delighted to be working with a progressive accountancy practice based in Leitrim. This firm is well established and due to continued growth they are now seeking a Qualified Accountant to join the team.  

Your responsibilities as a Qualified Accountant will be:

1. Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports for clients.
2. Provide strategic financial advice to support business decision-making.
3. Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. 
5. Provide tax planning advice and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
7. Address client queries and provide timely, accurate advice.
8. Conduct client meetings and presentations as needed.
9. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
10. Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

You will have the following skills/ experiences:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or similar).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a practice environment.
• Extensive experience in Accounting, Tax, and Tax Compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software/ Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written & spoken English.
