Our client, a leading contractor in the civil engineering and utilities sector, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Support Coordinator to assist in the delivery of key projects. This role will involve providing administrative and logistical support to project teams, ensuring smooth operations and the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist project managers and teams with administrative tasks, including maintaining project documentation, schedules, and reports.
- Coordinate project meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Monitor project progress and track key milestones, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records of project data, correspondence, and compliance documents.
- Support procurement activities by coordinating orders, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Assist with health and safety documentation, ensuring all project sites adhere to compliance standards.
- Provide general administrative support, including travel arrangements, timesheet management, and invoicing.
Requirements: - Previous experience in a project support or administrative role, preferably within the construction or utilities sectors.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and compliance documentation is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Full driving licence is desirable.
