Project Manager (Construction)

ProSource are currently seeking an ambitious Project Manager for a Cost and Project Management Consultancy based in Cork, specializing in delivering comprehensive project management services across various sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, and public works.
  
Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets, while providing regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinating and overseeing project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal resources.
• Monitoring and managing project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place for potential issues.
• Managing procurement processes, including preparation of tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Ensuring that all projects comply with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Reporting on project performance, managing project budgets, and providing forecasts for completion.
• Organizing and leading project meetings, preparing progress reports, and liaising with clients to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a project management role, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Irish building regulations, procurement processes, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• €55,000 - €70,000 DOE.
