Project Engineer

Prosource are seeking an experienced project engineer on behalf of their client, a leading design consultancy based in Kildare.


Role:

• Manage the overall design on their own projects under supervision and guidance of a Director or Associate from feasibility to handover
• Coordinate and oversee project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, construction) to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, reports, and technical specifications.
• Review and validate engineering designs and plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Irish C&S Consultancy positions.
• Chartered Engineer or approaching chartership
• Ability to design and manage civil and infrastructural design as part of project from planning to completion
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Competency in civil engineering software a significant benefit
