Project Electrical Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Project Electrical Engineer on behalf of one of Ireland’s leading consultancies.

This role will offer you the chance to work on projects in commercial, education, large scale industrial and pharmaceutical sectors.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Lead the electrical engineering design process for projects from concept through to completion.
  • Develop detailed electrical designs, including schematics, layouts, and specifications.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information for design purposes.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and design teams.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on electrical systems.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for electrical engineering aspects of projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 4 years + of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Irish building regulations and standards is a plus
