Payroll Manager

My client is an established Accountancy practice based in Athlone and they are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist/Manager to join the team. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of Payroll Clients and attending to their payroll needs. 
• Submitting and reviewing payroll files.
• Attending to queries.
• Submission of returns to Revenue.
• Other adhoc requests.

Skills and Experiences:

• IPASS Certification or similar for Irish Payroll.
• At least 12 months experience working in an Irish Accountancy practice with a high volume of Payroll clients or experience working in a large company with high volumes of employees.
• Eligible to work in Ireland without the need for visa sponsorship.
• An understanding of HR.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 
• High level of attention to detail. 
• Good understanding of Irish payroll, pensions, BIK, PRSI, USC, PAYE etc.
• A "can do" attitude.
• Team player.
