Part Qualified/ Qualified Accountant

My client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Part Qualified/ Qualified Accountant to join a growing team in Galway City. 

The role involves reporting to the partners and providing the firm’s clients with support on a range of activities including:

• Preparation of accounts and working paper files for non-audit, sole traders and partnerships;
• Preparation of income tax and corporation tax returns for partner and manager review;
• Companies Registration Office filings for partner and manager review;
• Work with support staff to ensure delivery of services to customers on time;
• Ability to deal with client and revenue queries.

Key capabilities and requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a small to medium practice is essential;
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and good business acumen;
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines;
• Ability to work in a team environment and support team colleagues;
• Ability to reconcile and post accounts up to trial balance stage;
