Part or Qualified Accountant: Co-Sec

My client is an established Accountancy practice based in West Dublin.  They are ambitious and due to continued growth are looking for additional accountants to join the team.  An attractive opening has come up on their Co-sec team. 

They are looking for an experienced, ambitious qualified or part qualified accountant to join the team.  In this practice you will enjoy hybrid working (a minimum of 2 days working from home).  On site parking is also provided at no extra cost. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advise and assist clients on compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance on new legislation relating to company law and corporate governance matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business ensuring excellent customer service. 
• Working with juniors delegating tasks, organising planning and reviewing work.
• Oversee the quality of the client database and manage the annual compliance diary.
• Oversee various company secretarial transactions (e.g. share transfers, share allotment, capital reduction, change of directors, strike off, amendment of Constitutions, buy back etc.) to include preparation and/or review of the necessary corporate approvals, CRO submissions and statutory registers updates.
• Other adhoc duties are required.

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice
• ICSA or part ICSA qualified - or desire to seek qualification.
• ACA or ACCA qualification or studying towards same.
• Experience working with FDI clients operating in Ireland an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2014.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills.
• Can do attitude.
