Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Responsibilities: - Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Supporting senior quantity surveyors in procurement and contract administration.
- Assisting in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including obtaining quotations and preparing contract documents.
- Monitoring project costs and providing financial reports to ensure budget control.
- Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Conducting site visits to track project progress and support cost control measures.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and cost records.
- Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Supporting value engineering initiatives to achieve cost savings.
Requirements: - A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally with a main contractor.
- Understanding of construction processes, cost management, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A proactive and ambitious approach to career development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Package: - €45,000 - €50,000, based on experience.
