Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions for our clients.
  • Supervise, support, and mentor junior team members, developing them into high-performing tax professionals.
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of our Indirect Tax team’s strategy and daily operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on Projects. Such as designing tailored solutions for individual client needs, developing new technology-enabled solutions, implementing existing technology solutions or Conducting end-to-end VAT process reviews to identify potential risks and create a target operating model.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service with innovative solutions.
  • Successfully deliver complex consulting projects with a focus on technical excellence and practical, business-oriented solutions.

Skills/ Experiences required:
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure buy-in and manage challenges effectively.
  • Commercial acumen and business development skills, identifying and converting opportunities while managing existing and new client relationships.
  • Ability to build and leverage networks and relationships internally and externally.
  • Maximise value for both the firm and clients from tax services, while appropriately managing risk.
  • Excellent time management skills, effectively handling competing demands.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address core issues.
  • An enthusiastic, flexible approach to work.
  • A keen interest in using data analytics, process improvements, and technology to enhance tax functions (across Alteryx, Python, R or other data analytics/Visualisation tools).
  • Experience in a tax technical, tax technology, or data analytics role within practice or industry.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and commercial awareness.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain opinions and manage challenges.
  • Business development skills to identify and secure new opportunities.
  • Practical, commercial experience advising clients or working in-house.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative attitude, able to create, sustain, and manage effective, inclusive teams.
