Financial Acountant

ProSource are delighted to be working work with a prestigious Hotel based in Galway City seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Controlling the payroll.
• Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
• Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management.
• Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue.
• Reconciling bank statements.
• Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE.
• Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow.
• Other adhoc duties as required.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified Accountant (CPA/ACA or ACCA)
• At least 2 PQE years Irish experience - hospitality sector is desirable. 
• Good grasp of Bookkeeping/Accounts requirements.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
• Outgoing personality
• Can do attitude

Salary/ renumeration package will depend on experience.
