An exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant based in Longford is now available.  This role with a pragmatic accountancy practice with a number of locations across the midlands including Longford.


Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of financial statements.
  2. Tax returns.
  3. Managing finance. 
  4. Accounting tasks.
  5. Training/Mentoring Juniors.
  6. Other Adhoc duties.
  
  
Qualifications:
  
  • Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, Bookkeeping and Compliance skills.
  • Accounting and Taxation knowledge.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Full CPA, ACA or ACCA qualification - Part Qualified Candidates may also be considered..
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must have experience working in practice in Ireland.
