Estimator

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Estimator to join a leading consultancy in NYC. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within the construction and engineering sectors. While an electrical background is preferred, it’s not a requirement – we welcome candidates with relevant estimating experience in other disciplines.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Prepare accurate estimates for construction and engineering projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to assess material and labor costs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed within budget
• Assist with bid preparation, proposals, and submissions

To be successful in your application you will possess the following:

• 1+ years of estimating experience (electrical background preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
