Salary
€65,000 - €75,000, depending on experience
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical works, covering materials, labour, and overheads.
  • Reviewing project specifications, designs, and drawings to determine requirements.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and design teams to propose value-driven solutions.
  • Developing and submitting competitive and comprehensive bids within set deadlines.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Staying informed on market trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure accuracy.
  • Contributing to bid presentations and client negotiations as required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure precise cost projections.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
