We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Civils Manager to lead and manage civil engineering projects for our client, a prominent contractor in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in civil engineering, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee all civil engineering activities across various projects, ensuring successful project delivery.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
  3. Lead project teams, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  4. Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and project specifications.
  5. Monitor project progress, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues or delays.
  6. Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  7. Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management, highlighting key developments, risks, and any corrective actions needed.
  8. Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-efficiency and timely delivery.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and industry regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full driving license required.
