Civil Engineer | Specialist Contractor

Overview:

Our client, a prominent precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to oversee and support site operations across multiple locations, including Dublin, Kilkenny, and Westmeath. The successful candidate will ensure the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on each site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage on-site activities, ensuring project timelines, specifications, and safety protocols are met.
• Conduct surveys, site layouts, and setting out for precast installations.
• Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with technical drawings and project plans.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project manager and senior management.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including reports, records, and logs.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce health and safety standards across all project sites.

  
Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Site Engineer, ideally in the construction or precast concrete sectors.
• Strong understanding of site engineering practices, surveying, and setting out.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and construction standards.
• Full, clean driving license.
