Civil Engineer

ProSource are seeking a Civil Engineer on behalf of their client, who are an industry-leading Civil and Structural consultancy, for a position in Cork.

*€45,000 - €50,000*

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a design consultancy
• A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (level 8 or higher).
• Engineers’ Ireland membership with an ambition to achieve Chartered Engineers
  status.
• Good communication skills, especially the ability to translate designs into comprehensive drawing/information for construction.
• Interest in reinforced concrete design, structural steel, timber and masonry using Eurocodes.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility for own work and take initiative when necessary.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communicator with fluent English.
• Have a full clean Irish driving license

Responsibilities

• Carrying out work in accordance with company ISO procedures and Eurocodes standards.
• Working on a number of various projects ranging in size and value from beginning to completion.
• Site Visits
• Managing Project Budgets
•  Liaise with suppliers regarding technical matters
•  Technical presentations
