Our client, a leading civil engineering and construction contractor, is seeking motivated Site Engineers to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-3 years’ experience or recent graduates with less experience, looking to develop their careers within a dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will work on a variety of infrastructure projects, contributing to their delivery and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities: - Carry out setting out, surveying, and levelling tasks to ensure project specifications are met.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy on-site.
- Assist in monitoring site progress and maintaining project documentation, including daily logs and quality control records.
- Collaborate with site managers and subcontractors to coordinate activities and achieve project objectives.
- Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Support the senior engineering team in problem-solving and technical decision-making.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, including progress updates and risk assessments.
Requirements: - Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in a site engineering role, ideally within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in setting out, surveying equipment, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Total Station).
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Package Includes: - Competitive salary of €42,000 - €48,000 per annum.
