CAD Technician

ProSource are currently seeking a CAD Technician. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce accurate CAD drawings that meet project requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities; 

• Utilise CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to produce detailed architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.
• Create 2D drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details, as well as 3D models and renderings as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including schedules, specifications, and material lists.
• Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, industry codes, and project requirements.
• Stay updated on CAD software updates, best practices, and industry standards to continuously improve skills and efficiency.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure compatibility of systems

Qualifications; 

• Relevant degree in CAD or Architecture 
• Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working in a CAD technician role, preferably in an architectural, engineering, or construction environment.
• Experience with 3D modelling and rendering software is a plus.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes and workflows is advantageous
