My client is a progressive, fast-growing accountancy and business advisory firm with a strong presence across Ireland and the UK. Their Nenagh office is part of a dynamic network that provides expert financial guidance to a diverse range of clients. They are currently seeking an Audit Trainee to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards a professional accounting qualification.
Responsibilities: - Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments for a variety of clients.
- Work closely with senior auditors and managers to ensure audits are completed efficiently.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Perform testing and analysis of financial records.
- Identify and communicate any audit issues to the team.
- Develop strong client relationships and provide excellent service.
Requirements: - A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or studying towards one).
- Interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACA).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
