Assistant Sustainability Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking an Assistant Sustainability Engineer on behalf of one of Ireland's leading consultancies.

This role will be based in Dublin and is an opportunity to progress your career at one of Ireland's leading consultancies. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to develop expertise in energy and environmental modelling, while contributing to sustainable building projects. 


Key Responsibilities

• Assist in energy and environmental modelling using IES software.
• Support building performance analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards.
• Conduct Domestic BER assessments and contribute to sustainability reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams on HPI, BREEAM, and other environmental certification schemes.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and sustainability best practices.
• Communicate technical findings effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.

About You

• Education: Degree in Building Engineering/Building Services Engineering/Sustainability Engineering. 
• Certification: Registered Domestic BER Assessor.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with IES software, energy modelling, and technical standards.
• Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge of HPI, BREEAM, and environmental certification schemes.
