About the Role:
Our client, a leading Architectural and Construction firm, is seeking an
Assigned Certifier / Site Architect to join their team in Dublin. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to high-profile projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, exceptional design quality, and effective site management.
Key Responsibilities: - Act as the Assigned Certifier, ensuring projects comply with Building Control (Amendment) Regulations (BCAR).
- Oversee and coordinate on-site architectural activities to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare certification documentation.
- Resolve design and technical issues during the construction phase.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Irish building regulations and ensure all projects meet required standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and resources effectively.
Requirements: - A degree in Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, with proven expertise in site-based roles.
- Membership or eligibility for membership with RIAI (Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction processes, including BCAR.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
