ProSource are delighted to be working with an accountancy practice based in Longford seeking and experienced bookkeeper to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months experience working in an accountancy practice in Ireland. A Qualified Accounting Technician or a competent Bookkeeper who has worked in Accountancy practice previously.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate as the role offers an attractive remuneration package. The firm are progressive and utilise cloud accounting software XERO.
You will be responsible for:
General bookkeeping duties.
Maintaining up to date book/accounts.
Payroll processing 1/2 days per week.
Attending to client queries.
VAT/RCT processing.
Preparation of accounts up to the TB stage/ reconciliation.
Other adhoc duties as required.
Skills/Experience:
Have at least 2 years experience working in a practice environment as a bookkeeper/ accounting technician.
Qualified Accounting Technician or experienced bookkeeper with no qualifications.
Strong communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Good attitude and desire to work to high level.
Ability to be flexible, adaptable and work off own initiative as well as working well in a team setting.
